Paper or Plastic? Definitely Plastic…

Because it is just so versatile:

Plastic grocery bag... $0.00

4 yards of lavender yarn bought at a yard sale... $0.01

Your five-year-old saying, "Mommy I made this kite all by myself!"... priceless.

  2. they also make great parachutes for dolls or stuffed animals
and - if you can believe it - supersuits; simply poke 2 leg holes in the bottom of bag & pull 'straps' up over your shoulders :-)

  3. Julie,
It's been a while since I have been around here. I truly enjoyed my visit. The kids look like they are having a great time enjoying the simple things in life!!

  4. Julie, it's been awhile since I've had a chance to visit your blog. Your children are beautiful. I just wanted to tell you that this morning when I saw the picture of you with the twins, holding both of them at the same time in the sling-while preparing pies from scratch- was such a blessing to me. I've been having a real fun day of homeschooling my "too smart for her own good" twelve year old. My three year old has decided that he would be tired today. And we have a new dog. I just kept saying "Lord, give me the strength for this today." I'm 13 weeks pregnant, and the thought-"Am I crazy" keeps coming to mind. I was struggling with my little Isaac so much that I actually laid my hands on him and started praying out loud. Praying for the peace of Jesus. Anyway, things calmed down, Madison has gone on with her day, and I had a minute to sit down and read a little. It was such an encouragment to see your smiling face. Thank You.

I couldn't help feeling proud when I saw those sweet twins, feeling that I had a small part in bringing them into the world. Love YA Sis!
